Sharp Electronics Corporation and Your Authorized Sharp Dealer

1. Sharp Electronics Corporation has licensed this Authorized Dealer (the” Dealer”) to display SHARP Product demonstration videos and other materials (“Demos”) on this independently operated website , which is maintained by the Dealer. Some of these license terms are referred to below. The license to the Dealer allows the Dealer to sublicense end users of SHARP Products (who purchase for their own use and not for resale) to access the Dealer website and view demos.

If you are a Sharp SNAP customer, the authorized dealer (the "SNAP Dealer") who services the SHARP equipment at your workplace is your Dealer.

END USER LICENSE TERMS

Each end user of SHARP products, accessories and software is granted a non-exclusive, revocable, royalty free license to use in the United States, its territories and possessions the Materials solely to learn how to operate SHARP products, accessories and software, all subject to the terms of the Dealer's license as in effect from time to time.

Employees of SNAP customers and SNAP Dealers are also granted a non-exclusive license subject to the terms hereof the email Demos to other employees of such SNAP customer for the purposes set forth in the preceding paragraph. All rights not expressly granted by this License are hereby reserved to Sharp Electronics Corporation.

The Usage Guidelines are set forth at www.sharpusa.com and are part of this License.

2. INFORMATION OR MATERIALS ON THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NONINFRINGMENT. NEITHER SHARP NOR DEALER SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS OR LOSS OF INFORMATION OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES) ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE INFORMATION OR MATERIALS, EVEN IF SHARP OR ITS DEALER HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE INTENDED USE OR OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO A PORTION OF THIS EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

3. (a) Please be aware that (i) Sharp Electronics Corporation makes no representations about web sites which are maintained by third parties and the Dealer makes no representations about web sites which are maintained by third parties and (ii) other parties may appear to link this Site but really do not have an active link to Sharp’s most current information. (b) This Web Site could contain inaccuracies or typographical errors. Sharp does occasionally make changes in the products or the specifications for its. Products. It is your responsibility to obtain the most up-to-date information available. (c) It is your responsibility to assure that any material is free from viruses, Trojan horse, worms and other undesirable properties. If you believe that any are attributible to this site, please immediately contact the Dealer.

Many SHARP Products are sold by dealers or VARs and no warranty is provided by Sharp, only a dealer warranty accompanies the Product. If Sharp issues a warranty for a Product, that warranty is in writing and accompanies the Product. No dealer, distributor, VAR or retailer is entitled to issue additional warranties on Sharp’s behalf. Sharp reserves the right to modify any warranty at any time. If any warranty is made for software which accompanies a Sharp Product that warranty is contained in the license agreement for that software.

4. All of Sharp’s material is copyrighted and unauthorized use of any portion of our materials is protected by all relevant copyright laws. Demos may not be copied, modified, published, transmitted, distributed or otherwise made available without a written license by Sharp.

The demonstrations presented here do not identify all of the accessories or special requirements needed to configure the products that you see in the videos. For example, we do not state that a phone line is required for the facsimile products or that special power outlets may be required for IMAGER products.

Features and specifications of all products seen in these demonstrations are subject to change without notice. The products that you purchase or rent may therefore be different from the equipment and software being demonstrated.

In all cases, consult your Dealer for information about the specific configurations being demonstrated or about the possibility of changes/updates to equipment or software. These learning materials serve multiple purposes: Sharp employees use them and the employees of our authorized Dealers use them. The materials are sometimes written from the point of view of a Sharp employee, so you need to adjust your thinking somewhat. Since you are not a Sharp employee, the policies and practices of your own employer are your point of reference.

For example, we refer to “Sharp sales people”. A dealer employee is not a Sharp salesperson; however, a dealer employee is a “seller of SHARP brand products”.

No Authorized Dealer or any employee of an Authorized Dealer can (i) make representations or warranties on behalf of Sharp, (ii) assume or create any obligation in the name of Sharp or (iii) use Sharp’s name or trademark except in connection with the sale by the dealer of genuine Sharp products.

The techniques which are described in all of these training materials are based upon Sharp’s desire to promote accurate, honest, communications. If any Demo user is confused or at all unclear about any aspect of the Demos, please consult your Authorized Dealer.
